The 5th Battalion of the Dorsetshire Regiment in North-West Europe by Major G.R. Hartwell, Major G. R Pack, and Major M.A. Edwards.

A history of 5th battalion’s part in the 1944 Normandy campaign until the end of the Second World War. The 5th battalion the Dorsets were both in the 43rd (Wessex) Infantry Division and fought its way from Normandy, Arnhem and, the crossing of the Rhine.

All of the proceeds from sales on our online shop are donated to the Keep Military Museum’s registered charity. This helps care for our objects and develop our displays.
