The Rifles
On 1st February 2007 the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment joined three other regiments – The Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment, The Light Infantry and The Royal Green Jackets – to form a new regiment The Rifles, whose headquarters is in Winchester.
There are five regular and three reserve Battalions in the Regiment.
